I have a long flight tomorrow night. I am leaving Auckland, NZ and going to Boston, MA. It will actually take me almost two days (due to the international dateline) to get to Boston. I think the methods I will use on the flight to relax and destress are the mp3 we had for our class exercise for this unit and some soothing jazz music. Anybody have any other ideas?????
I've never been on a plane for that long but maybe an audio book would help spend some time. Something you can lose yourself in.

I have never been on a flight that long either. But I do take really long bus rides leaving on Friday for a 16 hour trip. I use some of the deep breathing and also every few hours I get up and stretch.. I try to read but find it just puts me to sleep so listening to books on cd work better for me..Whwn I take the train, I can get more work done because I can set up my computer and there is more room. I think that you have a great plan with the journey on exericse and the jazz you should be as calm as a sleeping baby ;)

Thanks guys. I did purchase an ereader for the trip. I was able to download our books onto the ereader so I didn't have to carry it around the airport. I don't know what is worse - a 16 hour bus ride or flight? Either way, I am sure we will need all the stress relieving tricks we can come up with. Have a great trip
